This patient had previously undergone rhinoplasty in China. She originally had a very flat nose and wished to make it as large as possible. In her first procedure the surgeon placed a silicone implant to augment her dorsum but she wanted more. Dr. Costa revised her nose to make it appear larger and more Caucasian (at the patients request). The nose length and projection was increased using multiple cartilage grafts in order to extend the tip and increase the dorsum of the nose. The nostrils were also corrected to appear less retracted and flared. These photos are at 1 week after surgery, which is why she appears bruised. She is very happy with the result!
