This patient underwent Asian Rhinoplasty with Dr. Costa. She wanted to make her nose appear more thin and less wide. She also desired more of a bridge on the top of her nose. A rib graft was used to increase the projection of the radix, dorsum and nasal tip. Her front appearance shows a nose that appears more slender and less flat and wide. She is seen here 6 months after her surgery. The advantage of using rib instead of a silicone implant is that the tissue integrates better and there is little concern for implant extrusion or infection.
