This patient was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo bilateral mastectomy surgery. After her mastectomy, Dr. Costa placed tissue expanders into the chest in order to recreate the breast mound. The patient then underwent radiation and 6 months later, can back for exchange of her expanders for permanent breast implants. She is happy with her result because her breasts are more proportional to the rest of her body and she no longer has significant ptosis of the breasts.
