This young patient had been diagnosed with a gene mutation strongly linked with causing breast cancer. After seeing members of her family suffer through this diagnosis she wished to undergo prophylactic mastectomy but desired the best reconstruction she could find. She underwent breast reconstruction with Dr. Costa. After removal of all the breast tissue under the skin, Dr. Costa expertly reconstructed her breasts for a natural appearance. She is very happy with her results.
