This woman had a history multiple previous breast procedures including breast augmentation x3, and a previous breast lift. Her breast pocket had been stretched out with inappropriately sized implants and she had developed capsular contracture which was causing pain to her chest. After a long discussion with the patient, she did not want any more implants and wished to have just her breast tissue. I removed her implants and the scar tissue (capsule) that surrounded them. A breast lift (mastopexy) was performed at the time of surgery in order to reshape her tissue to give her a good result.
